Health IT Cluster

The New Zealand Health IT Cluster is a vibrant alliance of organisations interested in health IT. It is comprised of software and solution developers, consultants, health policy makers, health funders, infrastructure companies, healthcare providers, and academic institutions - who have agreed to work collaboratively.

The Health IT Cluster and the National Health IT Board are looking to form a new type of engagement between health information and communication technologies (ICT) decision-makers and the health ICT industry. Our joint approach is based on similar exercises undertaken by Canada Health InfoWay, NeHTA in Australia and MedCom in Denmark - all of which have impressive and valued engagement exercises in their respective jurisdictions.

Partnership meetings will be held on a six-monthly basis to build relationships and reset the model of engagement between the sector and vendors.
