Universal List of Medicines Launched

The Hon. Peter Dunne, Associate Minister of Health launched the NZ Universal List of Medicines (NZULM) at Hutt Valley District Health Board on 31 May 2010.
"A New Zealand Universal List of Medicines is a significant foundation for the draft National Health IT Plan", says Graeme Osborne, Director of the National Health IT Board.
The NZULM links key medicines information resources to a common list of medicines information and standardises the terms used to refer to medicines.
