Progress Summary

March 2011

The project has commenced the testing phase with delivery of first releases of Medtech and MyPractice GP EMR changes. The Orion developed Referrals Management Solution is delivered and installed into healthAlliance DEV environments. Full end to end testing is dependent on GP EMR systems completing QA testing. Delays on this activity have impacted the following milestones of UAT, pilot and rollout. These dates are being reviewed and will be published on advice on the status of the GP EMR changes.

January 2011

All project activities relating to design and development of specifications are complete in relation to the major areas of referral forms and the Referrals Management Solution. Vendors, Orion and HealthLink, are well advanced with build of the Concerto component, core forms product and forms development. QA and test resources are currently under review to ensure project timelines are met and testing of the major solution components can get underway as soon as practicable. Full end to end integration testing by the vendors remains dependent on delivery of the GP EMR test releases.
