The 2011 HINZ conference:

The Health Informatics New Zealand (HINZ) conference, held in Auckland from 23 to 25 November 2011, lived up to its reputation as the annual highlight of the health IT calendar.

Read about the keynote overseas speakers at the HINZ conference included Dr David Blumenthal, until recently President Obama's National Co-ordinator for health IT, and Andrew Howard, the Australian National e-Health Transition Agency's Chief Architect.

Both the international presentations and local updates showed New Zealand’s approach compares favourably to overseas strategies.
