GP2GP Project Progress Summary

The project is on track to be completed by 30 June 2011. User acceptance testing with all four vendor PMS systems commenced in the week of 23 May. Each of the different systems have successfully transferred files between each other electronically in a test environment.  Final versions of the software are due for release shortly.

Project activity is now focussed on planning for deployment of the application and training of users. The initial rollout is expected to involve 25 individual MedTech PMS users and 25% of each of the three PMS vendors products. An incremental increase in uptake and a phased rollout thereafter will occur as practitioners become familiar with the benefits of the GP2GP functionality.
