Accountability groups

The Board holds accountable the following four groups for achieving the plan:

• Patients First (the Primary Health Care IT Governance Group)
• DHB CEO Information Group (representing the 20 DHB CEOs)
• National Programmes (governed by sector steering groups, eg Safe Medication Management Programme)
• Ministry Major Projects Committee

Our location/governance matrix is a key performance document, endorsed by the Board, showing accountability. Read in conjunction with the National Health IT Plan, the matrix provides a deeper level of detail and will be used by Health Systems Investment and Planning to ensure we progress the Plan on all fronts over the next two years.
